Welcome to the home of the net label aReW recordings.     Founded in 2009. The net label aReW recordings helps push and promote musicians/artists who like to experiment and push the boundaries. aReW recordings specialise in experimental and ambient sounds. There are no limits or restrictions and releases vary from the most minimal of pieces to the most chaotic. Quiet or Loud, simple or complex; as long as its original, anything goes! The journey officially started on 14th November 2009 when the 1st release titled aReW recordings presents indistinct passages and encounters was announced and officially released as a FREE download. Having built up a close network of artists/musicians/friends throughout 2009 plans were put in place to release a 13 track compilation of various artists to help promote aReW recordings. The idea was that a various collection of artists and styles would show people just what aReW recordings were about and give people a taste of what was to come in the future. On November 14 2009 RW-001: aReW recordings presents indistinct passages and encounters was released as a FREE mp3 download and aReW recordings was now officially up and running. Despite the variety of artists and styles on RW-001 the album flows extremely well. The 13 featured artists in order of appearance are: black dreams, Joris. J, V.I.K.I., My Gloomy Machine, Ryan Laccohee, Paddo One, Richard Wilmer Vs the white noise organization, RedSK, CINIK, Euhedral, My Pet Zombie Frankie, Wolfseule and ALT.
